Our focus is to promote the well-being of individuals and their families in the Howard County community by giving participants access to services and resources within the area, making sure that each individual can avail of the best possible treatment and care they need.
Who We Are
Valvel Health Services’ Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program was started with a single goal in mind: to be a helping hand to all who need assistance with getting back on their feet regardless of their difficulties.
Our Goals
- Deliver effective and efficient psychiatric rehabilitation services
- Provide services in the individual’s natural environment
- Decrease the prevalence of psychiatric and emotional disabilities in adults and families
- Work collaboratively with other community and state-based mental healthcare providers to achieve an effective outcome for the consumer while emphasizing goal attainment and maintaining lasting recovery
- Encourage independence and self-sufficiency
- Improve the consumer’s overall health and well-being
- Create a rehabilitation plan that complements the client’s current goals
- Meet the overall expectations of the consumer
